Benny is an 8-year-old black-and-white male JRT cross, tall and lanky weighing in at 17 pounds. A local shelter asked us to take Benny in and we gladly obliged; picked up by an adopter where he resided temporarily with their JG jacks until he landed on our doorstep.
Much loved in his previous home, this beautiful athletic dog came to us because of a growing family with very tiny toddlers.
Benny is a very kind, gentle and sweet dog who grew nervous around squeaky humans. Very calm in the house, very polite, Jacks Galore currently has Benny in sanctuary with five other Jack Russells.
Benny is a ball fanatic, and will chase it for as long as you’re willing. He has tons of energy, loves the great outdoors and would be a great hiking companion; walking enthusiastically on leash. Benny has a nose for critters, and is FAST.
This JRT cross gets along with all dogs, and would probably enjoy a canine playmate. He is crate trained, rides well in the car, and is housetrained. A jack who loves to be by the side of his people, not necessarily a cuddler, but likes to stay close and be with you and do things together. Benny is looking for a home where he will be much loved living with people who share his enthusiasm for the outdoors and quiet nights to relax. A delightful dog who would benefit from a fenced yard.
Benny deserves the home that will appreciate his beautiful eyes, his kind and gentle demeanor, and offer him what he so desperately needs. A new forever family.
