Daphne is a 6-month-old female, tricolor smooth coat Jack Russell Terrier whose mating pair were from England. A muscular long legged 19 pounds.
Daphne’s four other littermates have been adopted, and she is awaiting the perfect home.
Daphne is a high energy, ball playing independent JRT. She got along with all of her littermates, but is definitely a dominant and sometimes bossy female and most likely would prefer to live alone, or have a submissive male as a roommate.
We have found her to love playing ball running with speed and extreme enthusiasm. She is only now learning how to walk on a leash, and can be fearful of new things. Daphne is not quite yet housetrained, so she will need quite a bit of patience and support in learning the proper routine of doing her business outside.
This beautiful long legged girl is certainly a love bug, and just yearns to be cuddled, petted and showered with love. Extremely smart, she rides well in the car and enjoys being with people. A little bit of a project, but worth any effort one puts into showing her the ropes, and a Jack Russell who is ready to be molded as the perfect companion.
