Holly

Holly is a 3-year-old tricolor broken coat female Jack Russell Terrier weighing in at 13 pounds.

Holly came to us from her third home. After many altercations with the large dogs in the house, it became too dangerous for her to live freely with the other dogs. She is now very fearful of large dogs. Holly will be placed as an only dog. She walks beautifully on leash, and is able to walk with other dogs; avoiding them as long as they ignore her.

With people, she is a human magnet. Holly adores people, loves attention, but most of all she loves her squeaky ball. This is one Jack Russell who can certainly play ball for hours on end, faithfully returning the ball to you, even throwing it at you, to continue the game. She certainly never tires of her squeakies, and will hold it in her mouth and squeak for hours.

This JRT’s toys give her great comfort. Stuffies are never torn apart, but if given a new squeaky her gratitude is immense. Holly is definitely prey driven, but as long as she has a ball that’s all she cares about in the entire world.

Holly is extremely well housetrained, rides beautifully in the car, and is very obedient. Snuggling at the end of the day, closely wrapping herself next to her people, and very happy with the warmth that surrounds her. Holly needs an extremely active home, and she will be placed accordingly.

A very special, extremely smart little terrier, she needs to be busy busy busy, preferably with someone who is around a lot, and if given squeaky toys and balls, will be absolutely thrilled. Apply to Adopt Holly
