Jackie is a 3-year-old smooth coat female, brown and white shorty, weighing 11 pounds. Jackie is the perfect example of a “puddin’ jack”. Jackie and her other house partner were given up to the rescue because of fighting with the females in the home.
Jackie was adored, so we are working very closely with the previous owner to find her the absolute perfect home.
This JRT has high prey drive and lots of energy. Initially quite shy, it takes her a little while to feel comfortable around new people, but when she does; she’s 100% a person dog. She might very well get along with a kind male companion, but absolutely no females need apply.
Jackie is extremely well housetrained, very smart, and has very nice manners. This little JRT is crate trained.
Typical Jack, she loves to play ball when she gets into the swing of it, and will return it, if not a few feet away from you! She walks beautifully on leash, and has a great stride; don’t think those little legs can keep up with you! Jackie will do best with a fenced yard where she can run around to get rid of some of her youthful enthusiasm, play ball and chase squirrels.
